The Piccadilly

Customer Reviews We ate at Piccadilly Italian restaurant as a party of 6 on Saturday evening 26th Nov 2011. I suspect this restaurant doesn’t rely on return custom, but manages to survive because of it’s very central location by Soho and the theatre district. Here’s why: - The food was of poor quality - incredibly overpriced! With no starters, 2 side dishes, 2 people drinking and 2 having dessert, the bill still came to over £30 per head. They add 12.5% service charge to every bill (table next to us refused to pay as the service had been very poor). - Asked if the veg lasagne contained mushrooms & said we were asking because my wife is allergic to them, waiter said, “no”. Half way through eating it, noticed many large pieces of mushroom! They changed her meal but didn’t really apologise and still charged us for it! - Poor service generally - one of the coffees ordered didn’t arrive, we had no way of telling if we had been charged for it as the bill was not properly itemised - dirty toilets Other than that, we had a lovely evening with our friends! LOL!
