| A short walk from Holborn Underground station, the Bunghole is one of Davy’s traditional wine bars, with candlelit tables and sawdust covered floors. With typical English dishes on the daily grill menu, there is also a range of hot and cold bar snacks available throughout the day. Davy’s own label wines, accompanied by an extensive wine list dating back to the late 1970’s, can be served. If you would prefer, the bar can also serve up a pint of Davy’s Old Wallop, which can also be purchased in a pewter tankard or a copper half-gallon jug. Additional fine wines can be found in the cellar and vintage Ports are decanted daily, available by the glass or bottle. A particularly versatile venue, the Bunghole is ideal for formal or informal dining, evening events, or just a quiet drink. There are private dining rooms and large parties can be catered for. |
